Yesterday, I had a much needed rest day. I did The Asylum's "Relief", which is an incredible 25 minute full body stretching routine. I was able to work out all of the kinks and knots that had developed from the hard lifting earlier in the week. I also fueled my body properly (Lean-grass fed meats, eggs, healthy fats like avocado, olive oil and nuts, veggies, fruits, greens, good carbs like quinoa, spelt noodles, steel cut oats, lentils) and slept very well. As a result, I woke up ready to hit day 7 of the Beast Phase hard today!

I have noticed that with the increase in cardio (you do this workout twice a week with the lean schedule) during the final Beast Phase, that my endurance is picking up again. My form is improving and my squats are deeper and faster. My movements are becoming more explosive. This means even more anaerobic and metabolic conditioning is taking place. This is a fun workout! Like Sagi says, if you "Give it a 10", you will maximize your fitness gains and get the results that you want.
