Listen up people. This is very important! Sugar is making you and your children unhealthy and obese. Sugar increases the risk of various cancers, diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, heart disease, impacts autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Sugar is killing you. Sugar is killing your children. I may not be making any friends right now and I'm okay with that. This needs to be heard and sometimes the truth hurts. Here's the other half of the equation: Please, start exercising. Move your body. Encourage your children to play outdoors.
My friends, I'm not asking or expecting you to workout like I do. I know it's extreme. I just happen to like it. What I'm suggesting is that you find what you like to do. Try on something as simple as moving more. Walk or bike for at least 30 minutes a day. Take a yoga or dance class. Clean your house. Mow your lawn. Just get outside and move more. Play with your children, your dog, your cat, your neighbor. Just do it. Enjoy your life. Instill good habits of proper nutrition and adequate exercise in your children. Make your kids healthy and happy. You are all worth it! Let's end the trend of obesity together.
