Friday - Insanity Max Plyo & Death By Hops - Say What?

My day off from P90X2 and I elected to do INSANITY's Max Interval Plyo! What the heck was I thinking? Well... I woke up this morning feeling totally energetic, strong and ready for more than just a recovery workout or a day off. So, I picked this DVD out of my fitness arsenal and gave it my all. Wow! What a great routine! The intensity of Shaun T.'s workouts are highly addictive. I always feel exhilarated and accomplished after completing one.
By the way... I'm also very glad that it is Friday! I am going to enjoy a great local craft beer this evening. I pretty much avoid alcohol during the week. However, a premium craft beer is one of those little heavenly indulgences that I choose to enjoy in moderation on a Friday or Saturday night. Have you ever tried Olde Hickory Brewery's - Death By Hops? This is an outstanding beer! What I enjoy most about craft beer is the quality of ingredients and the depth of flavor. You just don't get that with the macro-breweries. You know who I'm talking about right? You did see all of the Superbowl commercials didn't you? Thankfully, my macro-brewery beer guzzling days ended well over a decade ago. I dropped that low quality stuff long before I began to get serious about my fitness and health 4 years ago. At present, having a couple of high quality craft beers on the weekend fits perfectly into my fitness equation. I believe in working very hard. I also believe in enjoying some special treats occasionally in order to keep yourself balanced and moderated. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Just try and make sure that your special treats (whatever it may be) comes from real whole food sources. Think quality, not quantity!
It is kind of ironic that I completed the hardest "hopping" workout on DVD this morning and I plan on ending my day with Death By Hops!

Be good, stay balanced, moderate and have a great evening!
