P90X2 "Base and Back": I am really trying to focus on form. I want to improve my pull-up volume and plyometric explosiveness. My goal today was to slow down and extend fully in each of the pull-up exercises. I also wanted to go as deep as possible and explode with maximum height and power in the plyo movements. Honestly, this is very hard to do consistently for the duration of the workout. It becomes easy to cheat the movements. Especially, when you begin to fatigue at the half-way point. Starting the second round, your tired body will want to kip and swing during the pull-ups. Your depth and power fades quickly during the jump training. It's amazing what proper form will do to your numbers. The truth is that numbers don't mean a thing unless your form is correct.
