Happy Friday & My First Post!

Some background first... I'm a P90X, INSANITY, INSANITY - ASYLUM freak! I love and live this stuff... cannot get enough of it! I am presently in a week 2 of phase 2 of P90X2 (great program and loving it so far).  I had to juggle my schedule a bit this week due to some responsibilities. I found it necessary to double up on some workouts which left me with an open day on my calendar today.

So, my wife and I decided to jump in the garage and tackle INSANITY'S "Cardio Power & Resistance". I love this workout. As a matter of fact, if I ever become stranded on a deserted island and could only bring one workout - this would definitely be it. Of course, not having a DVD player, TV or electricity may present a problem... Ummm, I digress.  Focus! This workout is awesome because it hits everything in 45 fast and furious minutes (cardio, strength, flexibility, endurance). The endorphin release at the end of this workout is highly addictive. What is your favorite INSANITY workout?

Afterwards, I thoroughly enjoyed a Results & Recovery drink. Okay, the funny thing here is that I have been doing this stuff for 4 years now and had never tried the R&R mix until last week. Yep... what in the heck was I thinking.  This stuff is liquid gold! For those of you that have never completed an INSANITY workout, let me assure you that every single one of them are killer hard and will totally wipe you out. The remarkable thing is that it has only been 20 minutes since I drank the R&R mix and I truly feel like a million bucks. This stuff rocks! Have you tried it? Let me know how it has helped maximize your workouts.

It is Friday afternoon and I am very much looking forward to a cold beer after work. I think I'll have an India Pale Ale this evening. I know your thinking.... What??!!  Workout, get fit, get lean, stay lean, eat healthy and enjoy beer, is this possible?  OH YES... It is very possible.  Stay tuned...
